Tributes paid to Dad of Two Chris Guilford Killed in Great Shoddesden Crash

Tributes have been paid to a driver who died in a collision near the Hampshire/Wiltshire border on Friday. Christopher Guilford, 22, of Wylye Road, Tidworth, died following a two vehicle collision on Perham Down Road, Great Shoddesden. Officers were called shortly before 6pm on Friday January 13 to the collision involving a Peugeot 206 and a Ford Kuga. Sadly, dad-of-two Mr Guilford, who was driving the Peugeot, died at the scene. The family of Mr Guilford have today paid tribute to him. In a statement they said: “Son to Paul and Natalie, brother to Charlee, Sophie and Oliver, brother-in-law to Steve, fiancée to Holly and father to Leo and Archie, uncle to Cash, Logan and Jennifer, grandson to Jeff and Lisa, Stan and Eunice, stepson to Dave, nephew to Danielle, Matthew, Carol, Brenda, Paula and Kevin, great nephew, cousin, best friend and much loved buddy to many. “Always had so much love to give to his family, friends and the outdoors, especially horses and his beloved Liverpool FC. “Always remembered for this infectious smile. “Rest in peace Chris. Fly high and proud for being the awesome man you are. “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing. The 32-year-old male driver of the Ford, who is from Wallingford, Oxfordshire, was uninjured.
