Masked Machete Menace Strikes Elderly Couple in Broad Daylight!
A terrifying attack on a couple in their 70s in Stourbridge has left the community shaken. On Monday afternoon, a 71-year-old woman was confronted by a masked man wielding a machete on her own driveway.
Blades, Threats, and a Narrow Escape
At 3pm on February 11, the woman was approached by the armed attacker demanding her car keys. She and her husband, also 71, retreated inside their home – but the violent suspect followed them.
He tried to strike the husband with a chair, but luckily the man fended him off. The attacker then fled the scene on a red and black scooter as neighbours on Stevens Road rushed to help.
Victim Issues Heartfelt Plea
“I will never forget the knife, it was quite big,” said Josephine, the brave victim. “My husband and I want anyone with information to come forward. We don’t want this happening to anyone else, and we want them caught. Someone must know who they are — brothers, friends, or parents.”
