Beware: Dangerous Parcel Scam Hits UK Doorsteps

Scammers are flooding letterboxes with fake cards from a company called PDS, claiming they couldn’t deliver a parcel. PDS, standing for Parcel Delivery Service, prompts victims to ring a premium rate number: 0906 661191.

Don’t Dial the Premium Rate Number!

This is a nasty mail scam coming all the way from Belize. Royal Mail and The Trading Standards Office warn you DO NOT call this number. If you get one of these cards, report it immediately to the Royal Mail Fraud team on 020 7239 6655.

Action Fraud Joins the Warning Call

Action Fraud urges residents to ignore the number on the card. If you’re unsure or want to report the scam, use their online fraud reporting tool or ring 0300 123 2040.
