Aylesbury Man Jailed Over Shocking Ear-Biting Attack

Dexter Key, 22, from Ellen Road, Aylesbury, has been slammed with a hefty nine years and nine months behind bars. The sentence came after he pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday, 18 December.

Attack Madness in Town Centre

On 3 October, a 49-year-old man tried to break up a row between Key and a group of women in Aylesbury town centre. Instead of calming things down, Key launched a brutal assault. He punched the man to the ground, jumped on top, and horrifyingly bit off part of his ear. The victim also suffered serious bruising around his eye that needed stitches.

Swift Justice After Brutal Assault

Key was arrested just two days later, on 5 October. Detective Constable Michael Bellamy, from Aylesbury police, condemned the attack:

“This was an unprovoked and violent attack on a man who was trying to break up an argument.”

Detective Bellamy added:

“This conviction shows Thames Valley Police and the courts take extreme violence seriously. A dangerous offender is now off the streets for years. I’m pleased justice came swiftly and hope the victim can now move on from this extremely distressing ordeal.”
