Strong Words from CTP Boss
“We will be relentless in pursuing anyone connected to these arson attacks,” said Deputy Assistant Commissioner Vicki Evans. “We won’t tolerate intimidation of our communities and will hold all responsible fully to account.”
“We’re investigating whether criminal proxies—people paid to commit these crimes—are involved. The risks are huge. Those caught face serious charges, including under the National Security Act, with hefty sentences and lifetime restrictions.” Additional Met Police resources have been deployed in northwest London to protect Jewish places of worship and businesses, providing reassurance amid heightened tensions. Deputy Assistant Commissioner Evans added: “We thank the public for their support and urge everyone to report anything suspicious.”
