Knife-Wielding Thief Sparks Chaos at Morrisons with Daring Spirits Heist

Michael Dunn’s Wild Robbery at Sutton Road Supermarket

Michael Dunn caused mayhem after stealing booze from a Morrisons store on Sutton Road earlier this year. On the evening of 12 July 2023, Dunn parked his car in a disabled bay before storming inside. He piled a basket high with bottles of spirits and strolled out without paying a penny.

Threatens Security Guard, Crashes Car, and Flees on Foot

A security guard caught up to Dunn, but the 50-year-old wasn’t backing down. He brandished a knife to scare off the guard and sped back to his car loaded with stolen goods. As he tried to drive away, Dunn crashed into another vehicle, wrecking his car. He then made a desperate run through the streets, waving the knife to scare off anyone trying to stop him.

Arrest and Court Appearance

Dunn, who has no fixed address, was caught and charged. He later pleaded guilty at maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Crown Court. Detective Constable Megan Collins is leading the investigation.
