Couple Nabbed with £2,300 Worth of Stolen Goods at Shopping Centre

Officers swooped at a busy shopping centre on Friday afternoon after a man and woman were caught red-handed with a haul of suspected stolen goods.

Suspects Detained with Security Tag Remover

At around 2.40pm on 16 April 2021, police were called in following reports of the pair carrying a large amount of suspected stolen property. Both were promptly arrested and taken into custody. A metal security tag remover was also seized during the arrest, suggesting the items were allegedly stolen from stores.

Luxury Theft from Boots and House of Fraser

The suspects, Roxana Constantinescu, 26, and Constantin-Robert Sogirdea, 33, both from Solent Road, Worcester, now face serious charges. They stand accused of stealing cosmetics worth £1,333.57 from Boots the Chemist and clothing valued at £988 from House of Fraser.

Next Court Date Set

The duo appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court and were granted bail. They are due back at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on 13 May for a full hearing.
