Elderly Driver Dies After Tremona Road Crash
Just before 11am on Saturday, 19 June, a two-vehicle smash near the hospital on Tremona Road left a man fighting for his life.
Crash Details
A yellow Mazda MX-5 collided with a white VW near the hospital. The Mazda’s driver, a 73-year-old man from Gillingham, was rushed to 1 General Hospital with serious injuries.
Tragic Outcome
Despite emergency treatment, the driver sadly passed away in hospital on Monday, 21 June.
