Hit-and-Run Horror in Sipson Lane: Boy, 6, Critically Hurt

Police were scrambled around 8.15pm on Friday, July 9, after a shocking hit-and-run in Sipson Lane near the High Street.

A moped, speeding towards the High Street, smashed into a six-year-old boy and then sped off, leaving the child injured and stranded.

Child Rushed to Hospital With Serious Injuries

The youngster received emergency treatment at the scene before being rushed to hospital. He remains in a critical but stable condition.

Police Hunt Moped Riders Involved in Collision

Officers released an image of a moped with two occupants they urgently want to identify. No arrests have been made so far.

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is leading the probe. They are calling on motorists who drove past Sipson Lane from 8pm onwards and may have dashcam footage to come forward.
