Man Charged Over Stabbing on Barking Road
Sriram Ambarla, 23, with no fixed address, was charged on Sunday, 27 March. He is set to appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 28 March.
Stabbing Sparks Rapid Police Response
Police were called at 2.22pm on Friday, 25 March, after reports of a stabbing on Barking Road, Newham. Officers arrived alongside the London Ambulance Service to find a woman in her early 20s suffering from stab wounds.
Victim Hospitalised with Serious Injuries
The injured woman was rushed to hospital. She remains in a serious but stable condition.
