Tragedy at Cheadle Hulme Nursery: Baby Girl Dies

Police were called to Tiny Toes nursery in Cheadle Hulme, Greater Manchester, following a heartbreaking incident on Monday.

A young girl was rushed to hospital but sadly later died. Two women, aged 35 and 34, were arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter, Greater Manchester Police confirmed.

Police Launch Full Investigation

Describing the death as “heartbreaking”, Detective Superintendent Phil Duffy said,

“Our thoughts are very much with the baby girl’s family, who are understandably shocked and devastated. We’re doing everything we can to get them the answers they deserve.”

Nursery Temporarily Shut Amid Probe

Ofsted confirmed the Tiny Toes nursery on Mellor Road has been temporarily closed. A spokesperson declined to comment further, pending ongoing investigations.
