The body of the 85-year-old victim was discovered in Limetree Avenue, Worksop, around 9 a.m. on Sunday (24 July).
Officers were called to the scene after reports that a man’s body had been discovered on the side of the road.
Matthew Roe, 24, of Franklin Road, Jacksdale, and Luke Roe, 33, of Potter Street, Worksop, have both been charged with murder and fraud by false representation.
Matthew Roe has also been charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis, while Luke Roe has been charged with criminal damage.
Kevin Roe, 60, and Abbie Dixon, 27, of Watson Road, Worksop, have both been charged with assisting an offender.
All of them have been remanded in custody and will appear in Nottingham Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Thursday 28 July 2022).

I want to reassure the community that, while we do not believe there is a larger threat to public safety, there will be an increased police presence in the area.
“Enquiries into what happened are ongoing, so I’d like to again ask anyone with information, or who heard or saw anything suspicious, to contact us.”
