Police were scrambled to Shoreditch Mosque on Redchurch Street at 6.45pm on Wednesday, 18 May following a shocking racially and religiously aggravated attack.
Man Throws Bottles, Smashes Mosque Windows
A man hurled bottles at the mosque, smashing windows but leaving no one hurt. Authorities have yet to make any arrests.
Police Release CCTV Image to Track Suspect
Officers from the Met’s Central East Command Unit are leading the investigation. They’ve released CCTV footage showing the suspect near the scene, hoping to identify him quickly.
