Hit-and-Run Horror in Stirling: Woman Seriously Injured

Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver after a woman was struck on King Street, Stirling. The victim, a 63-year-old woman, was hit by a grey VW Golf on Saturday, 14 January, at around 2:20pm.

Driver Flees Scene After Leaving Woman Hurt

The car had been parked nearby before suddenly hitting the pedestrian. Emergency services rushed the woman to Forth Valley Hospital with a serious leg injury.

Sergeant Lee Walkingshaw said: “The driver failed to stop and is believed to have escaped towards Corn Exchange Road. Our investigations are ongoing, and we are eager to find the driver.”

Police Call for Dashcam Footage and Witnesses

“If you were in the area, please check your dashcams for any footage that could help,” Sergeant Walkingshaw added. “If you witnessed the incident or saw where the car went afterwards and haven’t spoken to us yet, contact police immediately.”
