Tragic Loss for Family After Missing Mum Nicola Bulley Found Dead

Heartbreaking Tribute From Sister Louise Cunningham

Louise Cunningham, 41, who led the social media crusade Bring Nikki Back Home, shared a poignant yellow heart on Facebook to honour her late sister Nicola Bulley. The pair were key figures in the desperate campaign to find the missing mother-of-two.

School and Friends Pay Their Respects

Nicola’s former secondary school in South Woodham, Essex, expressed deep sorrow over her death. A spokesperson said, “It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of former de Ferrers student Nicola Bulley. Our hearts go out to Nicola’s family and friends.”

Nicola had moved to Lancashire from Essex in the late 1990s with her family. Friends and classmates have also shared messages of mourning and support at this heartbreaking time.

Local Anger at Online ‘Ghouls’ and Conspiracy Theorists

Locals have slammed amateur social media sleuths descending on the small Lancashire village, conducting rogue investigations and spreading conspiracy theories about Nicola’s disappearance. TikTok has been flooded with speculation, much of it cruel and unfounded.

TikTok responded with a statement: “Our thoughts are with Ms Bulley’s family and friends at this difficult time. We are closely monitoring discussions and enforcing our Community Guidelines by removing harmful content and limiting the reach of inappropriate posts.”

Authorities to Crack Down on Social Media Misconduct

Meanwhile, police and community leaders have vowed to take action against those exploiting Nicola’s tragedy by spreading distressing rumours. The family’s private grief has been made even harder by social media ‘ghouls’ who have hampered the search and investigation.
