Manchester Man Locked Up for Nearly Four Years in County Lines Crackdown
Kielan Shennan Caught Running Class A Drugs
Kielan Shennan from Munn Road, Manchester, has been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison. His role in a county lines drug operation supplying crack cocaine and heroin to Lancashire’s Burnley and Rossendale areas exposed him to police arrest and conviction.
Phone Evidence and CCTV Seal the Deal
The Greater Manchester Police (GMP) county lines team zeroed in on a busy drug line mobile number. Using phone records and CCTV footage, they identified Shennan as the operator behind the scenes. This led to his arrest on 16 August 2023.
Drug Stash and Cash Found at Shennan’s Home
Officers searching Shennan’s residence uncovered a large haul of heroin and over £1,500 in cash. The evidence exposed his leading role in organising ‘drug runners’ and running the Class A supply chain.
Key Player Behind Burnley and Rossendale Drug Trade
“Shennan was a significant figure in a county line supplying crack cocaine and heroin into Burnley and Rossendale,” said PC J Claxton of the GMP county lines team. “This sentence sends a clear message to those involved in drug supply.”
Shennan pleaded guilty to multiple charges including supplying cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin, and handling criminal cash under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
