Drug Dealer Sean Fell Slapped With Five-and-a-Half-Year Prison Term
Sean Fell, 35, from Runcorn, has been locked up for five years and six months after admitting to running a drug supply racket across Runcorn and Widnes. The sentence was handed down at Chester Crown Court on Friday, November 3.
County Lines Kingpin Busted
Fell was caught up in a major police crackdown targeting County Lines drug networks. Operation Toxic officers uncovered his role in pushing Class A and B drugs across the local towns. Not only did Fell supply drugs, but he also possessed an offensive weapon – a dangerous samurai sword found during a police raid in September 2023.
Evidence Sealed His Fate
- Police found a graft phone linked to Fell during a raid in May 2023.
- CCTV and phone data showed he masterminded drug sales messaging to customers.
- Fell’s texts advertised illegal drugs throughout Runcorn and Widnes.
Detective Inspector Gary Stratton praised the bust. “This investigation is part of our ongoing battle against serious organised crime and County Lines drug dealing,” he said. “We are pleased Sean Fell will no longer threaten local communities.”
Project Medusa: Fighting Drug Crime Nationwide
Operation Toxic is part of Project Medusa, Merseyside Police’s mission to crush County Lines gangs since 2019. The drive has shut down over 1,100 drug lines and arrested more than 2,400 people linked to drugs, guns, and money laundering.
Stratton urged the public to help: “If you have any information about drug dealing, come forward. Together, we can keep our streets safe.”
