Pakistan National Wanted Over Alleged Rape
Muhammad Mudasar, 43, is on the run after failing to show up at Liverpool Crown Court. The Pakistani national faces charges of raping a “heavily intoxicated” woman in Warrington town centre in June 2023. A bench warrant has now been issued for his arrest.
Same Victim Attacked by Two Men
On the very same night, another man, Ashirat Ismail, sexually assaulted the same victim. Ismail has since been convicted, while Mudasar remains at large. Mudasar was previously out on bail with strict conditions, including residing at an address on St Mary Street, Latchford, and handing over his passport.
Believed to Have Fled UK, Police Hunt Continues
Mudasar skipped his court hearing on 18 March and is thought to have fled the UK, possibly to North Africa. Cheshire Police are still searching for him. No trial date has been set in his absence.
