Woman Assaulted on Folkestone Canal Path – Police Hunt Key Witness
Attack Near Royal Military Canal
Just after 5pm on Friday 14 June 2024, a woman was assaulted by a man she knew along the canal path at the Folkestone end of the Royal Military Canal, near Seabrook Road.
Suspect Arrested and Bailed

Police Seek Cyclist Witness
Officers believe a cyclist who spoke to the victim shortly after the attack may hold vital clues. The cyclist is described as a white man around 70, wearing a red T-shirt, cycling towards Hythe along the canal path.
