In a recent development, Cristino Martinez, a 40-year-old resident of Fabian Street, East Ham, has been charged with attempted sexual assault by penetration. The incident occurred on Paul Street in West Ham.
According to reports, at approximately 10.30pm on Saturday, June 1, a concerned member of the public discovered a distressed woman. The victim, who is in her 30s, claimed that she was approached by a stranger while walking home.
An investigation led to the charges against Martinez. He appeared before Stratford Magistrates court on Friday, July 5, where he was remanded in custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for Saturday, August 3, at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
