Detectives have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses following a brutal attack in Brixton that has left a 24-year-old man fighting for his life. The shocking incident involved both a shooting and a stabbing and took place in the early hours of Saturday, 31 August, on Loughborough Road, near the junction with Overton Road.

Two Men Seriously Injured in Violent Late-Night Assault

Emergency services rushed to the scene just after midnight, where they found two men with severe injuries. A 26-year-old suffered gunshot wounds and was treated at a local hospital before being discharged. The younger victim, aged 24, was stabbed and remains in critical condition as medical teams continue to fight for his life.
