Huddersfield Police Hunt Man in Shocking Early Morning Sex Attack
Police in Huddersfield have released CCTV footage of a man they want to question over a serious sexual assault in the town centre. The horrifying attack happened at around 4.50am on Sunday, September 8.
Victim Attacked in Chancery Close
The victim was approached by a man in Chancery Close — the passageway linking Chancery Lane and Market Place. The man sexually assaulted the woman before stealing her mobile phone.
Police Issue Urgent Appeal for Information
Detective Sergeant Will Denton of Kirklees Adult Safeguarding underlined the gravity of the case:
“This is clearly a concerning incident, and it is important that we identify the man in this CCTV image as part of our ongoing enquiries.”
Officers are urging anyone who knows the man or has any relevant info to step forward immediately.
