Shock on Hove Beach: Man Charged After Shocking Indecent Exposure Incident
Man Arrested on Busy Seafront
Lee Mutoro, 36, with no fixed address, has been charged with indecent exposure after allegedly exposing himself to a woman and a child on Hove beach. The disturbing event unfolded on a busy summer afternoon near Brunswick Terrace, a popular spot for families and tourists.
Police acted fast. Sussex Police arrested Mutoro on the scene shortly after being called on June 21. He remains in custody and is set to face Magistrates’ Court on 11 August.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Authorities are now urging anyone who witnessed the incident or noticed suspicious behaviour near Brunswick Terrace that day to step forward. Sussex Police said:
“We take incidents like this extremely seriously and are working to establish the full circumstances. If you were in the area and have any footage or information, please come forward.”
Witnesses can report tips online or call 101, quoting serial 830 of 21/06.
