Police Probe Four Linked Hit-and-Runs in Lincolnshire – Teen Arrested – UKNIP

 

Police are hunting for Moremore info after four hit-and-run crashes rocked england/east-midlands/england/east-midlands/lincolnshire/”>lincolnshire/”>Lincolnshire in one frantic morning. A 13-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incidents, which left one cyclist seriously injured.

Four Collisions in Three and a Half Hours

The collisions unfolded across Boston and alford/”>Alford on Friday, September 26, spanning roughly three and a half hours. Officers believe they are all linked to the same wild spree.

  • 6:44am: Cyclist knocked off his bike in Priory Road, near Boston. The driver fled the scene. The rider was seriously hurt and rushed to hospital.
  • 8:20am: Another male cyclist hit in Maltby Le Marsh, Alford. Driver again failed to stop.
  • 8:40am: Elderly man struck in West Street, Alford, suffering minor injuries. The same vehicle allegedly also nearly hit a small child.
  • 10:04am: Cyclist knocked off bike on Bluestone Heath Road, Calceby, Alford. Driver disappeared without helping.

Police suspect a black Range Rover was involved in all four hit-and-runs.

Young Suspect in Custody

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving under the influence of drugs, driving without a licence, no insurance, and aggravated vehicle taking.

He has since been released on bail, pending further investigation.

Police Plea for Witnesses and Evidence

“We have a young man in custody who is helping us with our enquiries,” said Sgt Billy Spence. “We believe these incidents are linked, but we need the public’s help. If you have dashcam footage, CCTV, or witnessed anything, please come forward.”
