Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver Urged to Come Forward
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit have traced a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) that was in the area during the crash but have yet to speak to its driver.
Sergeant Adrienne Jerram said: “There is no suggestion from the evidence we have at this stage that this vehicle played any part in the collision but as it was in the area at the time, we would like to speak to the driver as they may have seen something which could help our investigation.”
She added: “They may have seen either of the vehicles involved prior to the collision, which may not seem important to them but could be significant to our investigation.”
