Romsey Man Dies After Crashing Vauxhall Corsa into Tree in Chandler’s Ford
Tragedy struck last night in Chandler’s Ford as a 25-year-old man lost his life in a violent crash. Ben Ghafoor, from Romsey, died after smashing his Vauxhall Corsa into a tree on Winchester Road at around 11.30pm on Monday 12 March.
Fatal Collision on Winchester Road
The car was heading south west just past Peverells Wood Avenue when it collided sharply with a tree. Ben sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital, but sadly was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Police Hunt Witnesses to Crash
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or has any information to come forward. The Totton Roads Policing Unit can be contacted on 101, quoting Operation Gill.
