Police are hunting a killer after a 27-year-old man was stabbed in the back while in East Park, Southampton. The victim, a local resident, remains in hospital as officers launch an attempted murder investigation.
Suspect Arrested and Held in Custody
A 40-year-old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He is currently in police custody as inquiries continue.

A witness described the dramatic scene: “I was driving by and saw at least 10 police cars, ambulances, the air ambulance care team, critical incident units, forensics, and police tape everywhere. Hundreds of onlookers gathered.”
