Watch Snatch Shock: Elderly Woman Robbed in Broad Daylight at London Park
Brazen Robbery Near Seven Sisters Road
On Tuesday, 13 July, between 5.15pm and 5.40pm, a 73-year-old woman was targeted at the main entrance on the south side of the park near Seven Sisters Road, N4. A man suddenly grabbed her arm and demanded her prized gold-plated, diamond-encrusted JBW watch before making a swift getaway.
Victim Shaken but Unharmed
The elderly victim was left visibly shaken by the ordeal but escaped without physical injuries. The stolen watch holds significant sentimental value for her.
Police Hunt Slim, Athletic Suspect
Authorities describe the suspect as a Black man, around 5ft 11ins tall, slim and athletic. He was last seen wearing a light-coloured T-shirt.
PC Carol 1, North Area Basic Command Unit: “The watch was of high sentimental value to the owner. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen the watch being offered for sale to come forward.”
