Racist Rant at Petrol Station Sparks Hunt for Suspect

On April 17, 2022, just after 5.30pm, a man at a petrol station on Station Road was caught with suspected stolen goods in his pockets. Staff asked him to hand them over.

Instead of cooperating, he turned aggressive and hurled racist abuse at a member of staff before storming off.

Police Release Image to Track Down Man

“We have been completing inquiries into this incident and are now in a position to release an image of a person we wish to speak to,” said investigating officer PC Katie Blowers.

Authorities are urging anyone who recognises the man to come forward immediately.
