Pervert Locked Up for 14 Years – Faces Life on Sex Offender Register
A vile sex offender, Smith, was sentenced to 14 years behind bars at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday, 13 December. He will remain on the Sex Offender’s Register for life, ensuring he stays on police radar forever.
Detective Praises Victims for Speaking Out
Detective Constable Hayley Carroll from Bedfordshire Police’s Internet Child Abuse Investigation Team hailed the verdict as a victory for justice.
“We are all incredibly pleased with this outcome. It’s a powerful reminder for victims and the community – it’s never too late to report a crime,” Carroll said.
“We hope this success encourages others to come forward, no matter how long ago the offence happened.
“Sexual assault is abhorrent, especially on children, who often suffer lifelong mental and physical scars.
“All three victims are relieved and can finally move on with some closure.”
