Kenneth Addison, 39, from Tennyson Avenue, Grangetown, has been locked up for over five years after cops found his fingerprints on a massive stash of cocaine and piles of cash.
Massive Cocaine and Cash Haul Found at Windsor Court
Police swooped on a property in Windsor Court after receiving information about a vehicle carrying a firearm. Addison was spotted chatting with David Pears, 27, who was inside the car. Both men were arrested, and a gun was seized. The next day, a search uncovered 2.5kg of cocaine worth £48,060. Officers found 344g in the kitchen and two large blocks hidden upstairs. A safe in the bedroom held around £40,000 in cash, with more money scattered around the room. They also found several mobile phones and black scales—classic drug-dealing gear.
Fingerprints Seal the Deal for Five Years Behind Bars
Forensics linked Addison directly to the drugs and cash, with his prints found seven times on £20 notes and twice on bags of cocaine. He was arrested in January 2026 and refused to answer questions. At Teesside Crown Court on 10 April, Addison pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs. He was sentenced to five years and four months. Pears wasn’t spared either, landing a five-year prison term on 8 October.
“Addison’s fingerprints were found on the drugs and money, proving his direct involvement in the supply,” said a police spokesperson.
This bust hits hard against Grangetown’s drug trade, showing police are cracking down on dangerous dealers.
