Jason Burr, aged 51, of Oaktree Avenue, Maidstone, was sentenced on 14 February 2022 at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court.
He pleaded guilty to driving above the legal drug-drive limit and driving without insurance, in Maidstone, on 7 September 2021.
When stopped he gave a reading of 713 microgrammes of Benzoylecgonine in one litre of blood. The legal limit is 50 microgrammes. He also gave a reading of 26 microgrammes of Cocaine in one litre of blood. The legal limit is 10 microgrammes.
He was disqualified from driving for a total of 18 months and fined £400. He was also ordered to pay a £120 surcharge and costs of £160.
