Police have closed the A337 following a fatal crash involving an HGV and car.
The busy road closed was near the entrances to Hollands Wood campsite and New Park, Brockenhurst.
Emergency services including fire crews from three stations attended the fatal collision just after 5pm on Wednesday.
Police have sadly confirmed that the collision resulted in a fatality.
Local diversion have been put in place around the collision whilst collision investigation work takes place.
The collision happened on a notorious accident black spot on the straight stretch of the road
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We’re currently dealing with a collision involving a car and a lorry on the A337 at Brockenhurst. A closure is currently in place while emergency services work at the scene. The incident is ongoing.”

Two crews from Lymington one from Lyndhurst and Redbridge Rescue tender were all sent to the scene.
