Man charged with Rape and Robbery remanded to Woolwich Crown Court
A man has appeared in court charged with the rape and robbery of a woman at Gallions Park, SE28 on Friday, 8 November between 8.30pm and 9pm. Desmond Atumkeze, 22 of Greenwich, was arrested on Monday, 11 November on suspicion of rape and robbery. He was charged on Tuesday, 12 November with both offences. Atumkeze appeared at Bexley Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 13 November where he was remanded in custody to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on Wednesday, 11 December
