Emergency services, including Sussex Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECamb), and a Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Air Ambulance (KSS) Rapid Response Vehicle, were dispatched to Ovingdean at approximately 2 pm on Thursday following reports of an individual falling from the cliffs.

Upon arrival at the scene, the first responders discovered a man in urgent need of medical attention. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. At the time, Sussex Police provided limited information, stating only that the man had been hospitalised and that no additional details could be disclosed.
