Tragic Cliff Fall in Ovingdean Ends in Death
Emergency services rushed to Ovingdean around 2pm on Thursday after reports of a man falling from the cliffs. Sussex Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECamb), and the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Air Ambulance Rapid Response Vehicle all raced to the scene.
Man Seriously Injured and Hospitalised
First responders found the 20-year-old man critically injured. He was quickly taken to hospital, but limited details were initially released.
Young Man Dies from Injuries
Sussex Police have since confirmed the young man, who was not from Sussex, died in hospital. A police spokesman expressed condolences and confirmed the family has been informed of the tragic loss.
Investigation Continues
