Police were called just after 10:25am on Monday, 19 April to Bow Roundabout, E3, following reports of a crash involving a van and a cyclist.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene.
Cyclist in Critical Condition
The cyclist, a 30-year-old man, was rushed to an East London hospital. He remains in a critical condition. His family have been informed of the ordeal.
Driver Stays at Scene, Police Investigate
The van driver stayed at the scene while officers launched an investigation. Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are probing the crash.
