Victims Suffer Facial Injuries from Liquid Assault
A man was left with facial injuries after what is believed to be a liquid acid was hurled at him. According to the Met Police, two men were splashed with an unknown liquid and suffered minor injuries, receiving treatment at the scene.
A Met Police spokesman said: “Police were called to Parnell Road at 19:43hrs on Saturday, 29 August, following reports of a group of men fighting with weapons. Officers, London Ambulance Service, and London Fire Brigade attended. Two men had an unknown liquid thrown at them. They received minor injuries and were treated at the scene. All those involved dispersed before emergency services arrived. No arrests have been made; enquiries continue.”
