The family of Christine Bridson, who tragically lost her life in a road traffic collision in Hoylake, has paid tribute to her following the devastating incident. The accident occurred on Saturday, 30 September, when emergency services responded to a serious collision involving a white Mercedes Sprinter van and a woman at the junction of Birkenhead" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="Birkenhead" link="linked" id="153208">Birkenhead Road and Lee Road, just after 13.45 BST
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, Christine Bridson, a 72-year-old woman, sadly passed away at the scene. The driver of the van, a 51-year-old man from the Wirral, was arrested and taken into police custody. He has since been interviewed and released under investigation.
