Romar McDermott, 22, from Mitcham Lane, Wandsworth, faced the Old Bailey on Tuesday, March 24, charged with murder. Jamal Morgan-Salih, 32, of West Court Lane, Gravesend, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, January 24, also charged with murder.
Both men remain in custody and are due back at the Old Bailey on Thursday, April 9.
Victim Dies After Brutal Home Invasion
The charges follow the death of 46-year-old Myles Meyjes on February 20, 2025. He was admitted to hospital on February 12 after suffering injuries from an aggravated burglary at his SE12 home days earlier.
The Metropolitan Police launched a murder probe last December after a post-mortem review revealed fresh evidence.
