Two Men Charged with Murder After Brutal Home Invasion Death
Romar McDermott, 22, from Mitcham Lane, Wandsworth, and Jamal Morgan-Salih, 32, of West Court Lane, Gravesend, have both been charged with murder following a savage attack. McDermott faced the Old Bailey on Tuesday, March 24, while Morgan-Salih appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, January 24.
Both suspects remain in custody and are set to return to the Old Bailey on Thursday, April 9.
Victim Dies After Horrific Burglary Attack
The charges come after 46-year-old Myles Meyjes tragically died on February 20, 2025. Myles was rushed to hospital on February 12 with serious injuries sustained during an aggravated burglary at his SE12 home a few days earlier.
The Met Police launched a murder investigation last December when a fresh post-mortem review uncovered new evidence, turning what was once a burglary case into a murder probe.
