Bulwell Stabbing Shocker: Man Dead, Woman Injured
Nottinghamshire Police have launched a murder probe after a brutal stabbing in Bulwell left a 59-year-old man dead and a 33-year-old woman injured.
Fatal Stabbing in Bulwell
Emergency crews rushed to Cinderhill Walk at 1:45pm on Sunday following reports of a serious assault. Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman suffered injuries but is not in a life-threatening condition.
Two men, aged 30 and 43, were swiftly arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. They remain in police custody as detectives work the case.
Investigation Underway
Detective Inspector Clare Gibson called the incident “devastating” for the victim’s family.
“We understand the concern this will cause the local community. However, we believe this to be an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public,” she said.
Forensic teams are combing the area near a block of flats in Cinderhill Walk, where police have set up a cordon.

Assistant Chief Constable Suk Verma expressed his condolences and acknowledged the impact on local residents.
“We know how shocking this will be for residents. Two suspects were arrested shortly after the incident was reported, and we are doing everything possible to support the ongoing investigation and reassure the public.”
