Cash Machine Scam Hits Tesco Shopper in Broad Daylight
On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, a woman in her 60s fell victim to a crafty theft while using a cash machine at Tesco in Park Farm. The incident happened between noon and 12:30 p.m.

The victim was told by a man that the cash machine was malfunctioning. He urged her to press certain buttons to fix it. Unbeknownst to her, this was a ploy—her bank card was likely stolen during the interaction.
Unauthorized Withdrawals Spark Alarm
Soon after, the woman found suspicious withdrawals from her bank account, made at a cash machine in a different town.
