Officers are appealing for the driver of a white van which was involved in a road traffic collision on Wakefield Road, Pontefract on Friday 23 October to come forward.

The incident happened at 0645am when a woman was walking along the road in the direction of Pontefract.

As she neared the Barracks Business Centre on Queens Avenue she and the white van were in collision.

The vehicle was travelling from the direction of Pontefract towards Featherstone and did not stop at the scene.

The injured woman suffered a fractured arm

The driver of the white van or anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting 13200530884
