White Van Flees After Crashing Into Woman on Wakefield Road

Driver Sought Over Hit-and-Run

Police are hunting the driver of a white van involved in a hit-and-run on Wakefield Road, Pontefract. The crash happened at 6:45am on Friday 23 October.

Woman Left Injured

The victim, a woman walking near the Barracks Business Centre on Queens Avenue, was hit by the van. The vehicle was heading from Pontefract towards Featherstone and sped off without stopping. The woman suffered a fractured arm in the collision.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Officers urge the van driver or anyone who saw the crash to come forward. Call police on 101 quoting reference 13200530884.
