A man in his 40s was found injured in Quaker Way just before 6am on Saturday 25 February.
He suffered a cut to his head and was treated in hospital before being released.
Nasty Assault Rocks Town Centre
Detective Constable Amelia Hicklin from Nottinghamshire Police described the attack as “a nasty assault” that happened in the early hours in the town centre.
She urged anyone who saw or heard anything to come forward. “It is likely that this assault was seen or heard by somebody,” she said.
