Motorcycle Theft Spree Hits Bury St Edmunds and Brandon

Between 27 October and 11 November, brazen thieves struck, targeting motorbikes advertised for sale on Facebook. Posing as buyers, they arranged test rides — then rode the bikes off without looking back.

Five Thefts, Four in Bury St Edmunds

  • Four of the five thefts happened near Parkway, Bury St Edmunds
  • One theft was reported in Brandon

Multiple Descriptions, One Dangerous MO

Victims gave varying descriptions of the suspects:

  • Three victims say the suspect is a slim white man, aged between 17-28, 5’10” to 6’2”, with short brown hair
  • One victim describes a black man with a shaved head
  • The Brandon suspect is a white man with a scruffy goatee and a local accent
