Gunshots Rock Wood Green: Police Launch Investigation After Late-Night Incident

Shots Fired in Lordship Lane

Police rushed to Lordship Lane, Wood Green, after reports of gunshots on Saturday night. The call came in around 10.40pm on 3 May, sparking a swift response from the Metropolitan Police.

No Injuries, No Arrests Yet

Officers arrived quickly but found no victims or injuries at the scene. Despite launching a full investigation, no arrests have been made so far. Police say the incident is not linked to gang activity.

Police Appeal for Information

The Met is urging anyone with information to come forward. Witnesses or anyone with relevant details should call 101 quoting reference CAD 8184/03MAY.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called after gunshots were reportedly heard in Lordship Lane, Wood Green at 22:40hrs on Saturday, 3 May. Officers attended the scene and no injuries were reported. Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made. Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 8184/03MAY.”
