Tragic Teen Abbie O’Rourke Dies in Southampton Car Crash
A heartbreaking crash in Hamble, Southampton has claimed the life of local teen Abbie O’Rourke.
Deadly Collision on School Lane
Abbie was a passenger in a silver Toyota Aygo that smashed into a tree on Thursday evening. Emergency services rushed her to Southampton General Hospital, but sadly, she died from her injuries.
Other Passengers Injured
Two other passengers and the driver were also hurt in the crash. Police are continuing their investigation into what caused the collision.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“The family have asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time,” said a Hampshire Police spokesperson.
