A2 Bexleyheath coastbound closed following Drink drive crash at Danson Interchange

A two-vehicle collision on the A2 in Bexley Heath led to the arrest of a drunk driver.

The incident occurred just after 5:30 am near the Danson Interchange and Upton Road.

Recovery work is underway, and traffic is being held during this operation. Additionally, a woman has been arrested by officers for breaching the cordon and attempting to drive the wrong way on the dual carriageway during recovery.
